HOW THE HELL I GOT HERE…
Art Mouse began many moons ago as an obsession in a young teenager’s head. I’d binge-watch films on the daily, in awe of how everything looked, how everything was done and most importantly – how it made me feel. My Christmas list one year included DVDs of Metropolis, Nosferatu, Un Chien Andalou and most of The Coen Brothers filmography. I went on to study both Film and Media Studies in college but took a developing music and audio obsession into studying Music Technology at university.
My love for cinema never waned – if anything, a load of free time and student loans made it way stronger! – but creating my own films and videos never really crossed my mind until I met my photographer (now) wife in 2015. It all came swarming back and I found myself lending her camera to film anything I could. I started creating music videos for myself, which then blossomed into creating music videos for other people…
…and now it’s this thing I get to call my job.

Whether it’s a documentary, a music video, promotional content or a social media reel, I strive to weave this thought process into everything I do.
I’m a fun and relaxed videographer, audio producer and graphic designer based in the North East with almost a decade’s experience in the freelance world.
I live in Teesside with my little family – my super talented wife and my tiny ball of chaos, Aisling Margot (my 4 year old daughter). I make noise in a band called Mouses and by myself as stebee.
This is the part where I tell you all my hobbies… but I made all my hobbies my job. People usually tell you not to do that, but right now I love what I do and I get to create stuff every day.
I love doing things differently. From the very moment I got into videography, I wanted to break the mould. I wanted to fight against the super slick, corporate side of video.
I want to bring personality into everything I do. I want you relaxed, having a blast and genuinely excited about what we’re creating. That’s when the magic happens.
